2.1. Users may register to host a quiz in a licensed premises, such as a pub or bar ("the Venue"). The user is responsible for ensuring the Venue has the appropriate licensing to host such an event.
2.2. The quiz is provided for free to host, unless otherwise agreed between Blackbox Media Ltd and the user.
2.3. The user is responsible for all prizes.
3.1. Players in the Venue are required to pay a fee per player to participate in the quiz. This fee will be clearly communicated to the host before the quiz begins.
3.2. To upgrade the quiz to allow players to participate for free, a fee will be charged to the host. The upgrade fee will be agreed upon at the time of the upgrade.
4.1. The quiz is intended for use in licensed Venues only. Any unauthorized use, including hosting the quiz in an unlicensed premises or reproducing quiz content without permission, is strictly prohibited.
4.2. You agree not to use PubQuiz.com for any unlawful purposes or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services.
5.1. All content, including but not limited to questions, branding, software, and graphics, remains the property of Blackbox Media Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the content without prior written permission.
6.1. While we strive to provide an enjoyable and reliable quiz experience, Blackbox Media Ltd makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or suitability of the service for your particular use.
6.2. Blackbox Media Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6.3. The user is responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection during the use of the services. Refunds to players will not be offered where issues arise due to poor network connection on either their device or the host's laptop/computer/machine.
7.1. Refunds will not be offered for any technical issues arising from a poor network connection on either the user's or the players' devices, including the host's laptop/computer/machine.
7.2. Refunds may be considered only in cases where the issue is directly attributable to a fault in our services, and not due to user error or connectivity problems.
8.1. Blackbox Media Ltd reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services without prior notice for any user found to be in violation of these terms.
9.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10.1. Blackbox Media Ltd reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
